Question for my readers …

by Vonya
author is Vonya

As you all know, my posts have dropped from two a week down to a single. This is because life put me in a pair of cement boots and the tide is coming in.

However, I find myself in a situation where I can offer you -some- kind of amusement on Tuesdays, mostly because it actually entails zero effort on my part (love those).

I’ve got some stories that I wrote about Vonya which I could post here.

They have zero educational value and haven’t been heavily edited or anything.

But they’re moderately entertaining, and it would be more text to keep y’all from forgetting I exist while I slave away at homework and vow never again to take night classes.

So, my questions are as follows :

1) Would you want me to post them, or would you prefer silence to random stories?

-and-

2) If I -do- post them, would you like me to hide them behind cuts so that those not interested can just ignore them? (I don’t cut my new entries so that those using feed readers can still access the information).

This wouldn’t be a regular feature on the blog - this would just be something to help tide you over till I get done with my classes and can pick up my second day with useful posts again.

That’s it. I know it’s my blog and I can post what I want to, but I do not exist in a bubble. If most of you flat out don’t care or know you’ll just scroll past ‘em, I’ll save the time it takes to format them and keep the status quo. But if a handful of you might be interested, I figure it’s a decent apology for the one-post-a-week that’s currently plaguing my blog.

More posts are good I say :)

I would like to hear some stories and judging from your previous posts you’d be a good storyteller. Why not post a few and then ask again?

When you talk about stories you’ve written “about Vonya,” do you mean fan-fiction or have I completely missed the point? I’ve never been one for that sort of thing, but I love your writing style, so maybe you’ll make a believer of me! I would very much prefer random stories or mumblings here than silence, but it’s your blog. I’d be sorry to see the lights go out, but life comes first — it absolutely has to.

Regardless, I’m of the mindset that anything in this little space of yours is well worth reading. Throw it out there, at the very least I’ll read it. =)

If by stories you mean anecdotes from your adventuring, I am all for it and would read them with delight. Particularly the amusing ones. Like this one time, when my Officers and I were taking down Sunken Temple, and… oh, wait, sorry… not my blog.

I love stories as I am a writer myself. I say post away - and if ppl don’t like em, then yea they will let you know. On a side note, hiding them might be a good idea incase those people who don’t appricate a good story (all those who hate RP servers for no reason at all for instance) don’t have to read ‘em.

    *laughs* Okay, okay!

I’ll post the first bit on Tuesday. They’re just stories - not retellings of adventures (although the game-related things, like her reputation with the various factions, are true).

Even though you’ve already agreed to posting your stories, I would just like to say that I will read them gleefully as well!

Frank was waffling, so we burned him.

    But now it’s unanimous.

    @everyone
Posts are queued up and ready to go!

The first one will go live tomorrow, then one a week. I’ve got five ready. Lock n load!

There will be no cuts until I do the Thursday post (I always go back and cut to clean up my homepage) so hopefully people won’t get too terribly irritated with scrolling past it.
