Everybody’s getting surprises these days. I shall be all tingly with anticipifications.

…I think they make a creme for that…

    *winks*

No worries. I’ve been enjoying the story. Do you know of any other places that are good sources of WoW fanfictions? Thanks and keep up the good work.

Sometimes you can find some good stuff on the RP forums or server forums that are RP servers.

Aside from that, I’ve not got much advice. Straight fanfic sites are likely to have a terrifying amount of half dragon illegitimate love children of Elune and Illidan or something.

Not that such a story might not be good reading, it’d just take a really good author to pull it off. *grins*

I like the ones where the waifish main character girl turns out to be super-powerful, but bashful and needy of a strong hero to protect her and show her the ways of the world.

Ooh! The hero can be a dragon in disguise, and find himself falling madly in love with this mysterious girl who just oozes power.

OOH! To keep it original, she shouldn’t be the offspring of a couple of names we already know in lore, that’s been overdone. She should, hm. She should be the living incarnation of the Sunwell itself!

    Hahah, nah, that’d be silly.

    ?_?

lol, what’s funny is that top one is perilously close to several of my storylines. *grins*

What can I say? I like the classics.

I do hope to add enough spins to them that they don’t taste like stale bread on the tongue of the reader though. ^^

An overdone storyline is only bad when it’s poorly done. Leftovers can be delicious, too! :)

The Reluctant Mistress is pure win.

And, for my own two cents, I keep thinking I’ll start a fanfic blog and post some of my own stories, but then I get distracted and forget about it…or re-read what I’ve written and decide it sucks too much to share…

As for the classics, well, cliches become cliches for a reason, even an original storyline sucks when it’s poorly written…
