Now that we’ve got more bloggers to shoulder the Egotistical load, I find myself writing entries before they’re due.
I know, I know, that’s crazy talk.
However, I wanted to note that it’s just not a healthy behavior to engage in. Sure, sure, it means you guys are probably going to get better quality posts, since I have time to edit them and am not frantically typing on Thursday mornings, trying to get something out in time.
But how on EARTH am I supposed to write these, some of them weeks in advance, and not share them?
I want so badly to hit “Publish” that it’s unreal.
How do the rest of you do it?! How do you resist the urge to share?
Especially when someone comments about macros, and you have a perfectly ready post on hunter macros waiting in the wings?
This whole ‘being prepared’ thing is a crock, I’m tellin’ ya.

It drives me a little nuts, to be sure! Though I’ve found that since I started using Windows Live Writer to do all the blog posts, it’s easier - since they’re stored on my computer and I’m not logged into the actual blog admin site to do it.

… i’d say just flood us and spoil us but then later on doubtless you’ll hit a drought time…

Easy…I don’t blog.

*snicker* Well, Pike started it! (The Hunter macros, that is.)
I don’t have/make the time to properly plan, write, edit and release my articles: I much prefer playing WoW at night after work, than blogging. I know, I should get back in the habit of writing on Sat/Sun mornings, but just about the time I planned to do that, 2.4 propped and now I have all those lovely dailies in Sunwell…and too many alts to do them.
I did use LiveWriter recently for one article, and it was okay, except it put my site’s background behind the text–and not where it should be, so editing was a pain (text the same color of the background). However, I think I will use it more to get a better feel for it.
And Ego, you’re the only one on a schedule–we simply read when you release. I’m fairly confident in guessing none would object to multiple posts in a week.

Pah! Double Pah!
The extras are for when my muse departs. Unfortunately, she’s like my Aunt Jayne. Love her when she’s here, but she stays for slightly longer than anticipated, and then I don’t see her again for a few months.
The tips of my fingers and my back teeth itch to click that button though. ITCH.
