Who are you? You have most likely been here before. Read an article or two. More likely than not came here for insight on the priest class or perhaps it was mere chance, a mis-click from another blog you read.
I, unlike Ego, tend to be a lurker. I hide and read, rarely posting anything anyway (as my dearth of posts here likely shows) but tend to read just about anything I can get my hands on when the topic interests me.
Is that you? Let us know! Take this as an invitation to, maybe just this once or maybe again after many times, sign in, leave a comment, say hello or tell us a story.
We are glad we have your eyes and ears. Glad you stop and visit and very glad those visits are enjoyable to you!

Some musings.
So, there I was caught red handed. I couldn’t spit the water back into the bottle, and I couldn’t swallow. So I did what any hairy backed, loin cloth wearing ogre would do in my situation…..I absorbed the liquid directly into my blood stream. I knew the risks - vomiting, cold sores, and tinnitus, and I didn’t care! There was no way that Horace was going to know it was I that emptied his gallon jug just after he filled it.
And there….you…..go.

I don’t often visit the site itself, but I read everything that comes out on my reader. Figured I would drop by on this one and say Hi though.
keep up the good work.

I was first brought here by another avid reader/lurker and was very impressed with what I had read. Due to being impressed by the writing style in many of the stories and accounts I have since decided to jot down the digital address and stuff it into my RSS reader.
I especially love the work that has gone into the tales of “The Job” and “The Golden Days of Youth”. These truly inspired me to begin working on my own writing, which pales in comparison.

I have posted in the past… and will post in the future… I must confess though. I do a whole lot more lurking and reading that posting
Keep up the good work guys… my highest priest is only 22, but I still enjoy the site

Hey, while I mostly lurk, I do post comments occasionally!
I have no idea how I came across here, but I’ve been coming here since before the new domain, at the very least.

About 6 months ago, my guild promoted me to raid healing leader. Not knowing much about non-druid healing strategies, I went to the interwebs for assistance. Egotistical Priest was the first site I checked out, and I’ve been a faithful lurker ever since. Thanks kids!

We kidnapped the Ego, once. Sort of.
Not hardcore enough to be a part of the In Crowd, we’re the unofficial Egocorp Groupies.
And ninjas never lurk. I mean, not technically.
June 20th, 2008
Who are you and what did you do with Ego?
No really since the whole EgoTeam started it has still been mostly Ego/Vonya posting.

I found this place several months back, right after I stumbled into raiding and discovered I know nothing about theorycrafting–but numbers scare me. You were linked from a “Links priests should know” list, and I heartily agree. I’ve explained the 5SR to countless budding priests, and referred them to this blog. “Everything I Know About Priesting I Learned From Egopriest” is my battlecry, and I believe that taking your advice and insight to heart is a large part of my success as a healer.
I’m looking forward to the shaman columns, as my shaman just hit 61 and is looking tentatively toward raid-healing. I hope you’ll cover leatherworking as a way to gear a resto shaman for Kara; I can’t figure out if the MP5 of Dragonscale lw outweighs the +heal of Tribal lw, since I’m told shaman have OOM issues when healing. (Yes, I’m just enough of a perfectionist to have looked up the Appropriate Plural for “shaman” According To Blizzard.)
This is why I don’t post much; I usually turn a simple “Hi, I like your work!” into a ten-page missal. Keep up the good work–I’ll be lurking.

I am another lurker, though I have posted a few times. This site is in my favorites and is one my daily stops. I love all the info I get here and at Lightnatured.com (I post there as Ayslin, which is my Priest’s name). I have 2 healers, a holy priest and a resto druid. I am a researcher which is what led me here. I’m always on the lookout for more info on my chosen classes

Fresh 70 Troll SPriest here. Like many others, I’m a feed reader and don’t come to the site except when asked to.

Greetings and salutations!
My name is Chris — I sign Christopher out of habit, but only my family calls me that — and I’ve been visiting this blog since about last November or so. I come to you by ways of Valyre of Ascent, who is a good friend of mine.
Between the healing analysis (I’m a healer by trade and function) and the fiction Vonya throws our way from time to time, I’m a dedicated reader and occasional poster here.
My World of Warcraft main is Kerryk, holy paladin of the casual super-guild Doomforge Militia. If you’re ever on the Shadow Council server Alliance side, look me up! =)

Okay, so I do post now and then…and Ego is almost solely responsible for me starting my own blog…
June 20th, 2008
Was directed here about a month ago from Ratshag’s blog. I do not play a priest, and I have no idea about the class, but I really enjoy a lot of the posts, especially Vonya’s posts (the murlock guard, the male Draenei healing animation etc)
Great work, keep it up. I promise to be less lazy and comment more often

Avid blog reader, with my own space where I rant about Warcraft. I play a Warlock and Prot Pally at 70, and have a Druid and Mage as Alts.

I just wanted to let you know that not only healers read this site. I’m a raid tank, raid leader, and guild leader. I read a number of sites to better understand how to used the classes in my raids. You site seems to be the better one when it comes to healers, mainly priests.
In order to be an effective raid leader and raid tank, you *have* to know what you healer can do, and short of leveling a priest up, you guys are the best source of info and perspective that I can find without being buried in numbers.
Keep up the good work.

“hello”
So my Druid’s fishing was capped. Back then, there was no WoWWiki, so I ended up trawling the official forums for info. Turns out I needed some silly book from a guy in… “Booty Bay.” Hmm… wonder where that is.
More searching: it’s at the southern end of Stranglethorn, a zone that was WAY too high-level for me. Hmm. This presented a problem: I did not want to go in there and get eatened to death by big nasty things with pointy teeth. BUT I did have my Angry Sealion of Doom form. I could swim!
So off I went to Westfall. I swam off the coast, pointed south and hit autorun. I had to avoid all manner of beasties that, in hindsight, were too far away to aggro anyway. Like the sharks.
Quite some time later, I arrived in Booty Bay. I found the water entrance, located Mr. Why Can’t You Live In Stormwind, bought the book, and hearthed.
… and suddenly realised that I’d forgotten to get the bloody flight path. /headdesk

I’ve been reading for … a long time. Enjoying the stories and learning about a class that I don’t play (yet? She’s 13 and has been for months).
Keep up the good work.

I am a lurker. Although this site is one of the few linked on my own blog, I don’t think I’ve ever actually commented here.
How I found the place? Well, I’m one of those people who reads anything and everything they can get their grubby hands on once they find a subject that interests them. For me right now, that’s WoW theorycrafting, in every form. I probably read these various blogs and forums more often than I actually play WoW itself.
My highest priest is only 39 and has been on the back burner for about 6 months now, but I still enjoy making it my business to learn as much as I can about the dynamics of all the other classes out there. Your site is one of the ones I’ve come to rely on for all things priestly. Keep up the good work, and maybe I’ll delurk myself again some other time!
June 21st, 2008
Hey hey, a lurker/browser of WoW blogs.
Good work!
June 21st, 2008
Priestaphiliac here, with three priests on one server and a couple of others floating around. I favor the healing aspect of the class more than damage, but that hasn’t kept me from leveling a Shadow priest! Fellow lurkers unite?
June 21st, 2008
Followed a link from my guild forums to here sometime last summer, and been reading ever since.
June 21st, 2008
Hello,
I play a raiding priest, as well as a casual druid/shaman/paladin. And I’m mostly lurking looking for things to make me a better healer. I also tank a bit when bored, and got caught here when I read the “tanking tidbits”.
Been a regular visitor ever since.

Hi Ego Team!
I’m a tremendous lurker & have been reading your blog for quite a long time now. I follow several WoW blogs & follow links alot, that’s how I found this site.
Please keep up the excellent writitng cuz I’ll be reading (and lurking). Thanks.
June 23rd, 2008
I read the blog daily and love it. I post from time to time, but honestly mostly just read because of writing in my own blog. Keep up the great work!
June 23rd, 2008
I leave the occasional comment and read here from time to time. I saw the blog linked on several other blogs I have been reading in the last 2 months so I thought “what the heck” and clicked through.
June 23rd, 2008
Hai. I lurked for a long time, then I posted. It was downhill after that (for everyone lol).
June 24th, 2008
My work has denied access to your blog *grrrrrr* so no more lunchtime visits, I only get to visit on tuesday night maintenance (yes, 3 or 5 am PDT may work fine for the US, but in Oz, that’s 8 or 10 pm tuesday night).
My 2 mains are bear tank & heals priest. I came here from the BBB link.
Here’s a “/target self /uppercut” moment: I get my 2 mains to 70, think I’m doing ok, then find out about some great blogs where I improve my toons out of sight in a short space of time…. if only I’d found you guys earlier, I coulda been a contender.
June 24th, 2008
I am mostly a lurker, but I comment on occasion. I came here originally through BRK, having never played a priest before. I liked Ego’s writing so much I stuck around anyway. To this day, my only priest is a level 20-something Shadow-spec.
I am a sporadic WoW-player. I am an altoholic. Despite playing WoW for around 2 years now, I don’t have a single level 70 character. This is due to both altoholism and lack of time (seeing as how I work full time and go to grad school) and various other factors.
I don’t have time to read all the blogs that I follow completely, so I pick and choose and skim as appropriate.
June 25th, 2008
I’ve been a lurker for a long time now, having found this site through BRK. Although my main is a hunter, I find the advice here incredibly helpful, and recommend the aggro management post as a must-read for anyone looking to group effectively. Thanks for all of your hard work, great advice, and entertaining writing!
Oh, and Hello!
