Do a gaming podcast, if that’s what you’re into. Don;t do something just for the sake of it - it’ll come across badly. Find a subject you are familiar with. Best of luck!

I just wrote about a bunch of podcasts that I listen to that helps me keep on top of WoW related things if you want to check it out (http://dblbbl.com/content/consuming-distilled-wotlk-beta-news). They’re also all available on iTunes for ease of adding it to your iPod.

On non-WoW related stuff I find that NPR Radio: Science Friday has some engaging topics.

Since WoW seems to be pretty well covered, I’d recommend Radio Labs which can be found on iTunes. It’s an NPR show by WNYC that covers many different subjects from a scientific perspective. It is done very well and is always entertaining. And since it’s from NPR it will satisfy the “broader vocabulary than the average street corner conversation” criteria.
