Wenchin’ be th’ time-honoured traditional pass-time o’ me piratical brethern whene’er ye find yerself in port… One usually engages in th’ wenchin’ after one has already engaged in th’ drinkin’ o’ th’ rum’n'ale an’ ye need t’hoist th’ ol’ mains’l, if’n ye knows what I’m sayin’. A comely lass with her womanly assets pushed up high and proud as th’ sails at dawn is a sure bet fer th’ target o’ th’ wenchin’… Ye offer a stiff drink (or other stiff items if’n she be more aggreeable) a turn on th’ floor an’ maybe a shanty or tale o’ yer bravery an’ virility and yer sure t’ be in her knicker afore ten bells…

The former merchant mariner in me approves. I even became a sailor because I was obsessed with being a pirate as a kid — despite the fact that I was horribly afraid of water over four inches due to a swimming accident. Fun times!
