If you can see this, you are on the correct site for continuing Egotistical Fun!
RSS feeds should be working for the site now!
Someone pointed out a problem with the RSS feeds. I’m working on getting the site (egotisticalpriest.com) working, but for now, if you use the link at the bottom of the page, it will work.
Or you can just copy/paste this : http://egotisticalpriest.com/?feed=rss2
Sorry for the inconvenience! I am definitely gonna go bust some heads. *cracks knuckles*

@everyone
Whew! I think it’s working now. =]

google reader reports no feed available via the link at the bottom of the page

@Jason
That’s…very odd. I just cleaned out the link in my google reader and went through the whole process, and it didn’t give me any sass.
At what point is it giving you an error?

If you use the link at the bottom of the site, there is typo in the link. It is missing a colon after the “http”. Just add the colon to the link and submit it to your rss reader. Once I changed it, I was able to receive all the posts in Google reader. Hope this helps.

The error message that I’m still getting reads “No feed available for feed://http//egotisticalpriest.com/?feed=rss2“

edit: this is what I used for the Google Reader link, instead of the Entries (RSS) link below…
feed://http://egotisticalpriest.com/?feed=rss2

Ah, fixing the typo worked, thanks!

@Everyone
I’m at a loss. I’ve gone in and manually changed the code below to go from using the bloginfo to build those links to actually copy/pasting the CORRECT address down there.
Those colons are STILL gone. Vamoose. No sign. I checked twice, just like Santa.
The mouseover doesn’t lie, but I have no idea at what point it’s getting stripped out, if it’s something that mozilla dislikes or whatever the case may be.
I checked on the old blog site, and it’s the same way there.
If I click on the links, I can add it to my google reader without copy/pasting. The page it brings up shows the link it received, and it got one with the colon.
Whatever the issue is, it’s not a typo, but it’s definitely causing problems. I’ll add a note in the footer and post on Blog Azeroth to see if anyone else has had/fixed this problem before.
Thanks for your patience and help with this, folks! Much appreciated! <3

I compared what the link comes up as in Firefox 2.0.0.12 (the only add-on I is noscript) and a vanilla install of IE 6 w/SP2.
Firefox version: feed://http//egotisticalpriest.com/?feed=rss2
IE version: feed:http://egotisticalpriest.com/?feed=rss2
Hope it helps your research.

Just a suggestion, but FeedBurner.com is a great way to be sure your feed follows your blog, no matter where it goes.
